You're my vibe
Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah dears :) how did your weekend go?
Greetings from my sofa corner nest. I have pillows and a blanket, a cup of tea and some time to chat with you guys. :) It has been a nice weekend, nothing special though. We didn't celebrate Valentine's Day, but we did hangout at home together the day. I have also wanted to take it easy this weekend, because next week I have some things to do. I hope to get some work shifts in sha Allah, and also I have the anxiety group starting, then a laundry shift too and so on. And Ramadan starts! May Allah let us all reach the blessed month and make our practice accepted.
...
I haven't done a favorite list for a while, so let's see some February favorites!
1. Sweatpants
I wrote earlier I live in these hehe. Not at home, but outside. Sweatpants to market, sweatpants for a walk, sweatpants for running errands.. I wonder when the abaya time comes. It is coming though, I can feel it. :)
2. My hubby
I don't talk much about my marriage, because I want to keep it as a private matter. My husband is really great and sweet, and patient person, ma sha Allah. He keeps me grounded and reminds me of being a better person. I love how we can actually plan future with him and be in this relationship really committed long term. He also likes to make life easy for me, alhamdulillah. We don't necessarily have much, but we have built together a cosy home, calm routines and a growing relationship. And I love how he has also adopted Suttis and cares for his well-being too. ♡
3. Coming Spring
I don't know why, but I'm always few steps ahead. I have a fast temper, maybe that's why. I already am thinking about longer days, more sunshine, the birds starting to sing.. and I can't wait to build a garden in our balcony this year! In sha Allah. I've been following some Spring trends too, but this year I don't care so much about fashion. This year is about embracing my own self and I have built a nice capsule wardrobe so I'm gonna stick to that. (So far I have bought 5 pieces of clothing/shoes, all second hand. I'm trying!)
4. Changes
I think my life has changed now. I see a shift in how I use my time and how I feel. I think my focus has changed from trying to fit in and forcing myself to be more active and social, to more laid back, letting my current strength lead the way -kinda thinking. And I see that I have less anxiety now when I go out. It feels so much better to do things on my own terms, I don't have to be constantly overwhelming and overcoming myself. Days spent in peace counts more now.

Time flies. I was supposed to do dishes! I gotta go do that now. Thank you for reading, next time again,
Aisha
