Home chill home

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah all :) Eid Mubarak!

Yesterday was so nice day, alhamdulillah. I went to Eid prayer, the masjid was packed! Managed to pray and also find my friend, and then we went to drink coffee with some sisters and had so nice time ma sha Allah. Then I came home, went to grocery shopping and the rest of the day I relaxed at home. Which I'm gonna do today too, hehe. The weather is beautiful though, sunshine and warm. Me and husband have had our own plans for this Eid, but we take some time together too in the meantime. We just started to watch One battle after another and will finish it later in sha Allah.

I have treated myself with unlimited cheese, chocolate biscuits and candy, and black tea with oat milk. I don't want to think about my weight or feel guilty of eating things outside my diet. I'm currently having my fourth cup of tea, and it just tastes so good. There's time to be more strict later in sha Allah.

But I will start my workouts today! I'm waiting hubby to go out so I can have the whole dance floor 😄 Last summer I did Zumba quite often and I want to get into the spirit again. Just move my body and sweat. Also losing still some of the weight wouldn't hurt. I will take it easy though, no pressure no stress.

And I wanted to treat myself with some clothes I have had my eye on on Vinted, so I got myself a pair of pants and a cardigan. I like to add some color in my wardrobe. The pants are chocolate brown which is one of my new favorite colors. It's very versatile and can be paired with neutrals as well as different colors.

I know I have written about minimalism during these years, but I'm not sure if I'm a minimalist anymore. Or sure, I don't want to have too much things or clutter, but you already know, clothes are my weakness! I don't even know how because I don't necessarily look so put together anyways. So I do have more than dire need, but also that keeps me always re-evaluating my purchases and choices. Do I really need this, or could I work with the one I already have.

Don't have real pants though, so that was a need. It's time to leave the sweatpants to work, walk, or grocery store runs on Sundays. And look at the cardigan, the color just brightens up my mood instantly :)

I hope you all have had a happy Eid and weekend. Celebrations like this are important, to have a glimpse of light in the dark world. Even in Gaza, people celebrate. It's part of our resilience as muslims. We live, we die, we strive, with pride in sha Allah.

Take care dears, until next time again,

Aisha
