Happy eid!
Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh all :) how are u?
Alhamdulillah, yesterday was important day as it was the day of Arafah. We fasted the day, have to say I was struggling a lot but managed to keep my fast (the hours are pretty long this time of the year, from 2 am to around 10 pm). And then today morning we went together w/hubby to the eid prayer. Mosque was packed like last time but everyone found a prayer spot eventually. After the prayer my husband wanted to gift me flowers, and then we came home and took a nap. Then we just went on our regular things, husband to his own things and I relaxed at home and prepared dinner. A nice day, alhamdulillah.

I have had different types of eids. I've spent it alone, I've spent it with people I don't meet anymore, I've spent it with friends, and now these latest ones with the coolness of my eyes :)❤ I do love eid, it starts to feel so familiar and going to the mosque in the morning is a nice event ma sha Allah. My first years as a muslim were a bit of a struggle itself, I didn't always have the courage to go alone in the eid prayers, and fasting was also difficult, so I felt a bit embarrassed to go. Now when I see it afterwards, I could have gone all of those times. If you have recently reverted or started to practice islam, give yourself mercy. We know Allah swt is the Most Merciful.. don't punish yourself so much for mistakes. You can always repent, and attend the events to lift up your spirit and imaan.
Yeah, mosque packed or less crowded, it's so nice to pray in congregation. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity.
My mind is on those who might be afraid of doing that, due to recent events in USA and Canada, and of course in Palestine. May Allah swt protect us all and not leave us even for a blink of an eye.

Tomorrow I plan to have an easygoing day, in sha Allah. I want to visit the library and find one book I have in mind. I hope you all have had a lovely day ❤ Another time again,
Aisha
