Sunny side up
Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh all :) how's your weekend been?
I slept late today, only woke up to hubby making sounds in kitchen, meaning breakfast. I just had some tea. I'm not actually a breakfast person, but often I try to eat something in the mornings because it's the healthy way. But really I'm more of a brunch person - my stomach needs some time to wake up too so brunch time is ideal.
I went for a walk, found some new routes. My circles here are very small, I used to walk in the forest but now when I want to know our surroundings better, it's a bit trickier to find good places. I love a good loop, in sha Allah I'll find one.
Went to market too, to pick few things. Ziaja day and night cream, some magnesium pills, earbuds, candy, yoghurt, cheese. A bit random. Then came home and had my brunch: hot cocoa and cheese sandwiches, yum.
...
The sunshine does so much, ma sha Allah. Instantly more energetic and feeling like going out. I have to start to romantisize the rainy weather so I will get my steps in on those days too. I haven't worked out so long time I really have to do now something. Walking is a good hobby, even half hour a day does good for you. But yeah, today it was easy. I like this autumnal crispy weather.
Overall I've been doing quite well now. I'm not so anxious and I feel more connected to myself. I've been more or less on a diet, now starting exercising again too. Of course that has a positive effect on everything. I've also started to learn more to be present at the moment. Not in the past, not so much in the future.. just here and now, and enjoying the small delights in life.
...
Sometimes times are better. I feel like more the atmosphere has turned racist and close minded here in Finland, the more I care about my own bubble, and focus on loving. I just go my ways. I don't have to even guess anymore, I know that when people see me wearing hijab, they see something not classy to write here.. So I don't care at all. I got tired of caring, finally. So I go my ways and live my life. The world has changed much and who knows, maybe we're walking towards the end. At least I want to make my life matter, to make it meaningful and be free.
I hope you all have a nice day! Always keep on going,
Aisha
