A rarety

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh :) how was your weekend?

Everybody shh! Suttis is eating hay. He hardly lets us see it happen, because he prefers lettuce and cucumber, not to mention any fruits, and he wants us to feed him those. But he is really supposed to eat the dry hay as part of a healthy diet. So yes he is a good boy ❤ I'm happy for him. A tortoise is a nice pet but it's not the simplest one. They f.e. learn quickly to manipulate their hooman to give them exactly the treats they want to eat, so one has to be alert with their behaviors. Also now when I've had him almost a year, I see how his life consist of different types of cycles with different amount of energy, moodiness, rest and sleep. Now he's kinda taking it easy and waiting for Spring. He enjoys basking under the lamps he has and takes many naps a day.

I just love him so much haha.. Our little dinosaur baby.

This week was somewhat busy and went fast. I had the group, I also went to take my medicine this week (it's an injection every four weeks), also didn't do so much but the time passed quickly. I'm happy me and hubby have had some quality time together. We often go together for walks which include going to flea markets along the way. Alhamdulillah. I'm happy that we like similar things and activities. And we can enjoy the simple life together.

Also I started fasting again this week and it took some energy, but it's going ok, alhamdulillah. The break from fasting came in need, I'm not gonna say otherwise. At this time of the month I start to feel a bit weary. But now is also the time to put some more extra effort and keep Laylat ul Qadr in mind. A night of Decree, better than thousand months. So I try to drink up some tea and stay awake these odd nights. The side effect of the medicine I need to take is tiredness, and I fight against it every morning, day and evening, especially now when I quit drinking coffee.. I try to stay awake but it's not so simple. In sha Allah I will try my best.

...

A bit more personal tea than normally I guess.. I don't have anything really interesting going on at the moment. Everyday life is lifing.

Let's still remember our sisters and brothers around the world who have hard time. I know it feels like we can't do anything, but at least we can make duaa and donate to charity organizations in sha Allah. And keep on boycotting.

But now, it's getting late, I need to relax too. So I hope you all are fine and well, and until next time,

Aisha
