Hits and a miss

 Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah all :) how has your weekend been?


I have still been in flu. So mainly I have relaxed, and then I have gone to small walks. Yesterday me and hubby went to two flea markets and I found a bracelet and sunglasses. But I remember my promise to not buy anything extra. I don't have so much jewelry and I needed sunglasses so this doesn't count. :) 

Now I'm having some green tea with honey, and I want to chat with you guys :)

These last few months I have made some nice finds in cosmetics. 




1. BI:ES Blossom garden eau de perfume

I love this scent, it's so light and sweet but also long-lasting. Very fresh and brings your thoughts on the start of summer with a hint of fresh laundry too. I like. :) I have also Blossom avenue from the same brand, but it's a bit too strong in my opinion. Maybe it's more of an evening scent. Plus from affordable price, it's around 10e (I've bought this from Prisma and Normal in Finland).


2. ACO Ultra light sun face fluid

I tried this last summer the first time and now this is the only sunscreen I want to use (for face). I have been using natural ones, Alga Maris and Biosolis but they just don't work the same way. I have acne-prone, sensitive and combination skin and I have struggled to find a matte finish sunscreen. This ACO one is very light but working well, it moisturizes skin and doesn't mind the little makeup I use on top. Minuses are that it's expensive and it's not natural cosmetics. It also looks very small amount, but two bottles is enough for the whole sunny season for me in everyday use.


3. Essence Baby got blush

This has made me so happy :) I don't know have I ever really used a blush before. Now my cheeks are blushing from the walk I just took, but this blush works well on those days you want to shine a bit more than usual :) It's easy to apply and this pink shade looks very natural and pretty. I don't remember the price but it was just few euros, very affordable. Seems to be very lasting too. 


I also made a mistake, I want to share it with you too.





1. IDC Institute Almond body lotion

Hmm. Well, I bought it because I thought this would smell amazing, I was also a bit tired and just made a quick choice. The bottle wants to say it has natural oil, and well, it has, but mostly it contains mineral oil which is paraffinum liquidum (liquid paraffin??) which is not an organic product. It actually dries your skin more than moisturizes it. I don't know why, but I have still used this because I don't want to throw it just away like that.. I should though. Maybe the name is an omen, idc what happens if I use this.. but at least it's vegan :o

Greetings also from our teenage mutant ninja turtle, he is doing fine I guess. He just wants to eat and take naps under his heat and UVB lamps. He doesn't care about sunscreen, he just wants summer time now, asap. He has these different phases. Maybe he woke up too early this year, if he would have gone to sleep later and woke up now it would have been more convenient for him. But now we go with the flow, so food and naps it is. 

I'm waiting for the move so much, alhamdulillah. In this current place I have been so happy the forest is near, and ma sha Allah in the new place it will be too. I want to go for forest walks and take Suttis out too. Walking in forest clears my mind so well and the air is so fresh. I've grown always playing in the woods so it's important to me still to have access to nature. So with the new apartment comes something old, something new ;)

 


 

Anyways, I feel kinda tired, I'm not yet fully healed from the flu so I will relax a bit now, I have laundry in the machine too. I hope you have a good day and in sha Allah until next time,

But I'm really happy to see that you, dear readers, come back even though my lack of consistency.  Assalamu aleikum everyone! 😊❤ How are you doing? It feels great to start over. For those who don't know, I used to write a blog with the same title, "Cup of tea with Aisha", for around five years until I decided to demolish the whole thing. 😌 And it felt good.
