Some more stuff

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh :) how are u today?

I made a cup of green tea and grabbed my cardigan. Both my sweeties are sleeping, other at the floor hiding in curtains and other on the sofa. You can guess who is who.. Alhamdulillah, well seriously speaking, today has been a nice and also a productive day. In the midday I did a 45 minute workout, this time at home. I decided to rather save up the money from gym membership and do workout at home. At least I try this month how does it go. Then later we packed some bed sheets and blankets, and some kitchenware too, and took all to the storage. Alhamdulillah we don't have so much stuff, we can wrap up this apartment very quick in sha Allah.

I want to share one blog I was reading the other day: A Considered Life :) I don't want to tell too much, I want you to go explore it yourself, but if you like minimalism, simple living, capsule wardrobes and a sustainable life, you will love it :)

I actually found this blog on Pinterest, I noticed a pin about Anti-capsule wardrobe and checked it out. Well, it happens to be that I have it already, hhh. I agree a capsule wardrobe doesn't need to consist of certain pieces. What works for you, works for you and it's the best advice. You will want to wear the items possibly for years and not update your capsule every time (krhm.. note to myself). What is more important in building a good capsule, in my opinion, is that the clothes are matchable. And then again, matching is an art itself. Some like more monochromatic or harmonious looks, and for some, the maximalist philosophy of more is more is everything. Like I said, what works for you.

My wardrobe, after all this stumbling, seems to be final now. Eventually I just saved all clothes that fit well. And a regular, blue Oxford shirt became a new staple and my whole wardrobe makes more sense with it.

I wasn't planning on making any list, but I try. This does not include underwear or home clothes, or festive wear, but the clothes I wear on regular basis when I get ready for the world.

So I've got:

- 3 abayas (black, burgundy, beige)

- 2 tunics (black, printed navy/white)

- 2 pants (cream, black)

- oversized Oxford shirt (sky blue)

- a crochet vest (cream)

- warm oversized sweater (coral pink)

- a chiffon bomber jacket (floral/black)

Then I have an everyday parka type jacket, a jean jacket and then my winter/cold weather coats. Also actually I have two "outside cardigans" I packed away already. And then bags and shoes.. But yeah, I am happy to look at my wardrobe now. The shirt made all the difference, it's so versatile and goes with everything. It can be worn as a light jacket in the summertime too. And because it's oversized, it is more longer at the back, so I can wear it with pants too.

What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe? :) (note: the shirt just came from the wash so that's why it's still wrinkly.. :)

I checked the statistics and I saw my last post was very popular, so I thought I can start to make more of these mini haul's or product tests, how to call it. I know I tend to just yap about my daily life and maybe we've reached the point it's not so interesting anymore ๐Ÿ™ƒ so I will try to be a better me and create more content. But I throw the ball also to you, dear readers. What do you like about my blog? What kind of things you'd like to read about?

Well anyways, I got one product more to test. Or I didn't get it, I went to the supermarket and bought it.. Its Ziaja Vitamin C and niacinamide face wash gel. I was excited to try it, because I have used Ziaja's hair care products and they have been very good (and affordable!).  I love the cocoa butter hair mask, it smells so beautiful and when used in moderation, it makes my hair well moisturized and healthy looking. But back to the face wash gel. I've only used it two times yet, so I can't really say much. But I think my skin starts to look more healthier. I don't know yet will it really help with impurities or acne, but we'll see in sha Allah. The vitamin C helps to gain that pretty, healthy glow. Maybe I come back to this after a week of two, let's give it a bit time.
