Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah dears :) how have u been?


I'm alright, alhamdulillah. I have just been at home for past three days. Or four? Anyways, haven't been anywhere except a forest walk. I've done chores, some Zumba (which is really fun but oh my days I am an aunty :( ), and what else. I have slept a lot too. I think my anxiety levels just went up and I didn't want to face the world. I think the atmosphere is sometimes a bit harsh, don't feel like I have to go and accept people's prejudice. I just want to be in peace. So home and rest has been good.

I don't have much pictures, just Suttis, who has been feeling kinda off too and slept a lot. He has some stomach problems and I'll have to observe him few days to see if he will get better or we need to go to see a vet. He's ok, he has been walking around today, had a little bath, has eaten cucumber and plantain (in Finnish it's called "ratamo", this is not the banana lookalike but another plant), which has some healing features, in sha Allah it will help. If you have time, please make a little prayer for him ♥

Maybe this is this summer's summer mode after all. Taking it easy, as long as it's possible. I actually like the rainy days and fresh air. Hot weather too, yes, don't mind that either. I'm waiting for autumn though, I want to hear about the school. But I value this remaining time and enjoy it the best I can because it might be that next few years I will be studying full time and to be honest I'm not sure yet can I do it. I prepare of course.

If I don't get in, it would mean another year just floating. I don't want to go back to my old job, I feel I'm really done it enough now. But I don't want to just be doing nothing the whole next year.. I want to do something meaningful and try if I still got it.

Not much tea today, sorry, I don't have the energy. But things tend to change so in sha Allah next time we have something interesting to chat about. Yeah.. just into resting right now. Thanks for stopping by, it still matters to me ♥

I've done mindfulness exercises every day, and focused a little more in this world and all that is going on currently. And right now I'm, once again, learning about the right balance.  ... As a muslim, I am not supposed to be attached to this world, dunya, because it is temporary. The temptations there are, are making it easy to let desires lead one's life. And lead it astray. Had a nice time

 Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh each and every one :) how has your weekend been? I'm happy, alhamdulillah, I've had a very nice weekend. Yesterday I was out at bit, had lovely time. Today I walked to a nearby shopping mall, to a halal market to be specific, and bought few things for today's dinner. I made a Finnish dish, meatballs with mashed potatoes and some boiled green beans. I'll share my meatball recipe below (sorry, no pictures.. but if you are used to cook, you will succeed with this recipe in sha Allah). ... Alhamdulillah. I'm listening an instrumental version of the Algerian song "Aicha" and enjoyed some green tea. I've upgraded my teas and occasional coffees by making them in a high, thick glass. Instant coffee looks like a latte, instantly, lol :) Tea also tastes more refreshing from a glass. Hmm.  Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh :) how are u doing? Alhamdulillah. I got to visit my friend last weekend, we just both had flu so we didn't really do much else than what we were capable of: drinking tea and coffee and scrolling through Tiktok. But alhamdulillah. It was nice to see her and it was nice to come back home to hubby and turtle too. I'm still a bit feverish but getting better in sha Allah.  ... Fast forward to evening, I made some pancakes with date syrup, yum :) a nice treat. I've been crying all day, not gonna tell the reason, I'm sorry, but just things seem frustrating sometimes. Pancakes were a good medicine for this and a hot shower later, and I will be new again in sha Allah. For some time again.. ... Suttis, the tortoise, was lucky today to receive a package my husband kindly went to pick for him. A sleeping hut!
