Week's greetings

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah all :) how's your week going?

I'm making my cup of tea, and I watch some 90days too. Today was an easy day. Generally days start to feel easier now when winter starts to turn to spring and we have so much more light. Alhamdulillah. I went to pick my Vinted package and bought some greens to Suttis. Then I've also relaxed, spent time with the very much bitey Suttis, and prepared iftaar and so on.

What's new on the cosmetics front? Well, maybe you remember I started to use the rose water as a refreshing spray/ toner. That didn't work out. I might have had to dilute it, because it started to irritate my skin. I haven't used it since I noticed the symptoms. So yeah, not every product is for everyone.. I'll try it in baking next in sha Allah.

I've been using The Cream by Arctic Elixir for two weeks now, and I really like it. It has lightened my dark under eyes, and also smoothened some fine lines under my eyes too. It has nice, forest-like scent, it absorbs well, and is pleasant to use. Some testers report of allergic reactions, and that might happen with natural cosmetics as well as chemical ones. I apply the cream very carefree and haven't had any problems. I get a rash of the price of the product, to be honest, but I also see that the quality makes it worth it. But in this financial situation of mine I probably won't use it after the test period. If I had the means, I would keep using it because it really does have visible effect on the dark circles, fine lines and swelling. Also it's nice that they produce it locally here in Finland, at their own farm. I think we will hear more from this company in the future.

I also use SPF already, basically I started a few weeks ago when the sun started to come out. I still have my ACO one, but I'm interested to try Smuuti Skin's sun lotion. I just love a good sun lotion! Hehe. And I have to love it because I am very pale and I burn in a minute in the summertime. But actually everyone should use sunscreen, no matter if you tan or burn. It's good to start now, if you haven't yet. I've tried different ones, and actually currently I don't want to use a natural one. I've tried Alteya cosmetics and Alga Maris and some others. There's so so many, so probably everyone will find a fitting one. Both in mineral and chemical sunscreens. I would like to choose a natural one, but it is less wudu friendly so that's why I use the chemical sunscreen. (Mineral sunscreen makes a thin water repellant layer on the skin).

So the last ten days and nights started :) alhamdulillah. I still struggle with motivating myself, but also I have tried to focus on doing more good deeds, so it's not like I would just be doing nothing. Small goals are more achievable. I could have done better, but I've done what I have been able to. Like it's said, if you have 40% to give, and you give all, you have given 100%. There is always room to better oneself though, and Ramadan is not over yet!

It has truly been a month of blessings and reflection. I kinda have wanted to just fall in love with islam again. I've been struggling with my faith for some time now. I'd like to find the same enthusiasm and happiness I once had. Those times when I reverted... man, I did many things wrong that time too but I was feeling so genuinely pure and happy and I felt to close to Allah. May Allah guide us all to the path of blessings, imaan and growth. Maybe my path is not found by turning back but going forward instead. In sha Allah.
