Cosy walk and sugar rush

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh dears :) how are u?

I ate two chocolate bars so I am now full of energy, hehe :) Not the smartest thing to eat but when you're an adult you can have two instead of one. Yum. Alhamdulillah today has been nice overall so far.

My husband has day off, so we went to see the Kruunuvuorensilta, the new bridge opened recently here in Helsinki. The weather wasn't sunny today, but I took a few photos. There's still some maintenance to do, and there's gonna be a tram line too which hasn't started just yet. But we had a nice walk. It felt so strange to see the center side of Helsinki across the shore, and I didn't realize that the bridge leads to the Korkeasaari zoo from our end. Ma sha Allah. I love how I have zero navigation skills in my brain, and my husband knows everywhere even if he's there for the first time. Definitely today I got new landmarks on my map.

Even though today wasn't sunny, I want to give a sun cream review :) I have tried different sun creams and I'm serious of it because I'm very pale and burn easily in the sun if I don't protect my skin. Mostly I cover up myself, but it's the face, hands and feet which needs to be secured. And because I have, or have had a bit problematic skin, I choose well what I use for my face.

So as u see in the pic, I have currently three different sun creams, let me explain. The Aco one is very good, I've used it couple years and it's very reliable. Only minus it the scent, it's not perfumed but smells.. well, something you buy from pharmacy. It's also a bit pricey, I've been looking for another one to use instead. It also has it's best before date going soon, so we are going to leave it to the past. I'd say 8/10.

Then there's the Smuuti skin one I reviewed a short while ago. It's so nice, very easily absorbent liquid as the Aco one, but it's not waterproof :( that means that even if you don't swim, but sweat, it's gonna lose it's power. I have used it on my body on the days I can take a little sunshine on the balcony. I'd say 6/10, only because of the lack of waterproof, otherwise very nice product to use.

So what's left in the picture is a humble winner! I used Änglamark's sun lotion last year for my body, and it was ok, maybe a bit greasy but it doesn't necessarily matter. I have walked pass the stand in the supermarket where they sell these, and I decided to pick this sun cream for face simply because of it's price, 5€ something. So affordable. And I have been pleasantly surprised! It has a light texture and absorbs quickly. It doesn't have a mattifying effect, and can feel slightly heavy on the skin at first. But it's waterproof, vegan, allergy tested, and affordable. It doesn't leave any white marks either. Sometimes it's not about getting the hyped products but finding these humble, effective ones. I'll give this 8/10 too. :)

It feels like summer is five minutes away. Alhamdulillah. It's so cute how the seasons feel easily so nostalgic. Like it's just the change of the weather but same time it's the whole vibe. I'm waiting all of the sunny days, and the rainy day laziness. Also I'm going to work, and then take care of my balcony garden. I wanna go places and spend some time with hubby. Also Suttis will surely enjoy going out in sha Allah. Here he is in his cosy nest:

A cutie he is. And you too dear readers. I wish for all of us the best summer! But no worries, I'll write still in sha Allah.

Now I gotta relax a bit and then there's dinner time and so on. Alhamdulillah. Take care, later then,

Aisha
