Caring and sharing

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah all :) how are u today?

I'm not quite ok, but alhamdulillah. Sometimes my days go wrong even it would've started fine, so here we are. I try to give myself a break and think of something else. So I have some makeup and hair care stuff for you dears :)

...

I got my Avril order some weeks ago (? I don't know how time passes.. was it already weeks ago?), the one from the post named Like one of your French girls. Oh, got my hijabs too! I have forgotten to give you all the details.. So first, I got a volume mascara in shade Marron (brown), and lip oil in shade Nudissime.

The volume mascara has a curved brush, haven't used those before. It works well, but I'd say it gives more of an natural look than a volume look. Might be just me.. but I like the outcome, the natural look looks nice for summertime. I'm anyways more of a natural girl, no shade for anyone who likes a more dramatic or colorful look. I like makeup which stands out, but I'm so pale that heavy makeup just don't look so good on me. Tomato potato. It's just my personal preference. But anyways! The mascara holds well all day and doesn't smudge. I like this and it will be my new favorite (before it was their high definition mascara, it's great but always sold out).

I tried to check Avril's site for these products, it seems like they have currently sold out a lot of them, haven't seen this situation before so I need to investigate.. There's many sites selling their products, I just like their own site because the prices are much lower.

I started to use lip oil a while ago, I think my first was a Labello one, but now it's on the boycott list so we don't want that. Avril has a pretty (and) good solution to this. I've had already their lip oil in shade Rose caresse, which is a slightly brownish nude pink. Very nice, and goes great with their lipstick shade Rose de la marièe. Now I wanted to try another one, and chose a nude, almost clear looking lip oil in shade Nudissime. It's beautiful and I like the texture. In the second pic you can see the shades better.

And there's the scarves! I bought three of them, all made from cotton modal fabric. I was pleasantly surprised of the material, it feels very comfortable and cool, like literally cool. Nice to wear in the summertime. The light blue and burgundy colours are so intense, but I think I get used to them. I also like the beige taupe shade as it is a really nice neutral to wear this time of the year.

Then last but not least, I found a new hair mask from the supermarket called Yumi. It's a polish brand, I think it's natural cosmetics? I checked their site Yumi aloe, but I'm still not sure, hehe. Well, this is similar to Ziaja as a brand, as it's also very affordable and effective too! The one I got has a really bad bubblegum scent, but it doesn't stay on the hair after it's dried. That's a minus for me, but otherwise the mask is working really great. It's easy to rinse off, and it makes my hair more silkier and soft without weighing it down. It contains natural oils, aloe vera and watermelon extract. The packaging is maybe intended to appeal to more younger audience, but I don't mind, it's kinda cute. It's worth to try :) (and hey, sorry if I wrote about this before! I'm not sure so I will post this review, hehe).

...

Yeah, not the best day. But I feel a bit better now. I already have washed the dishes, and I don't really have anything else to do now. I have a book to read and one horror movie half way watched, maybe I'll dive into either of them. I have been also trying to find more about the autumn winter 26-27 trends, just for fun, but somehow there's not so much material about it online.. When my day has become lousy like this, I just want to forget it for a while and dwell in something else than self-loathing. I guess we all need a little escape from time to time.

But I will face this day, it's not over yet. Have to sit with it a bit and tell myself where I went wrong and where I was right. In sha Allah..

Thank you for reading dears,

Aisha
