Clutter cleaning time

Assalamu aleikum dears :) how are you?

Alhamdulillah, like I posted in Insta, I left home early this morning because maintenance came to fix the radiator. I went for some groceries and then a cup of latte. Usually I drink a cappuccino if I go to a cafe, or a 'regular one' meaning just plain coffee and oat drink. But latte gave me some more time. Then when I came home, I just started to take my scarf off and the maintenance guy was at the door.. can't flee these social interactions :)

I know we muslims don't celebrate new year, but still we are living in this world and the year has changed as the common calendar says. Also Ramadan coming closer, alhamdulillah. Time to start fasting last year's missed days in sha Allah. But yeah, I think this is a good time to take a new start on things. Or start a new take.. however you want to put it :) For me it will look like waking up my minimalist side and clean the clutter at home, going through wardrobe, kitchen cabinets.. and also eating more healthy and exercising more. The autumn time is usually naturally a time when you just want to be cosy and comfortable, and the Christmas time is the highlight of it. That's just how it seems to go.. but now, temperature goes down and it's time to tighten up the belt, enjoy sunshiny, cold days by spending more time outside and start living again.

Last year was kinda heavy, personally I did have troubles but many I know have had it worse. I hope that in sha Allah 2025 will be filled with positivity and good news. I don't know does my hopes help though but I want to look the brighter side and do what I can for it.

So to continue, here's some ideas I want to try this year:

- buy less clothes and things, only what is needed and if possible, second hand

- save money

- leave eating any treats for the weekend and opt for healthier choices

- take things easy and focus on mental wellbeing

- practicing positive mindset and gaining confidence

- enjoy creative hobbies and bake more, also try more new recipes

Yeah January has good vibes. I mean, in this happy little bubble. World hasn't settled down and there's still crisis in so many places. So remember to boycott companies, who don't care about their workers or how they impact on the world and continue supporting genocide. Also sadaqah, donate what you can and try to do good deeds. We have power in our hands and wallets too.

Never give up. That's what I want to embrace today and the days ahead, and remind you too. It's time to start working for better :)

Have a nice day!

Aisha
