 Assalamu aleikum dears :) how are u doing?


I'm still kinda processing the move to this new apartment. I'm happy though, alhamdulillah. There's many changes, of course it's the neighborhood and services etc. Different buses, metro station.. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but for me all this newness is overwhelming. It just takes a bit time.

And we did this out of free will and we were very lucky to get this place, alhamdulillah. My prayers go to those who are displaced and can't do anything about their circumstances or environment. We, who can read these words in the comfort of our own homes, must keep on making du'aa for our brothers and sisters who struggle to find their daily meals and shelter. Those who have lost all. I wish I could give them everything.

We found a nice sofa and now the home looks more comfortable. Suttis seems excited when there's always something new to explore. We will decorate little by little. I like this home so much and it's our first home together. In sha Allah we can live here long time. Everything is in the hands of Allah swt of course.. I cherish every day.

I'll leave this post a bit short today. In sha Allah I will write more later.. I am ok but still overwhelmed so I just focus on self care and relaxing. But don't worry, it's always nice to chat with u :) I hope you are having a nice sunny weekend! Later then,

 Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah 🌻 how's everything? The pause has had an good impact. I've done mindfulness exercises every day, and focused a little more in this world and all that is going on currently. And right now I'm, once again, learning about the right balance.  ... As a muslim, I am not supposed to be attached to this world, dunya, because it is temporary. The temptations there are, are making it easy to let desires lead one's life. And lead it astray. To me, for example, it doesn't take much. If I slip on few steps, I will feel very quickly I have gone more distant from Allah (swt). Had a nice time

 Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh each and every one :) how has your weekend been? I'm happy, alhamdulillah, I've had a very nice weekend. Yesterday I was out at bit, had lovely time. Today I walked to a nearby shopping mall, to a halal market to be specific, and bought few things for today's dinner. I made a Finnish dish, meatballs with mashed potatoes and some boiled green beans. I'll share my meatball recipe below (sorry, no pictures.. but if you are used to cook, you will succeed with this recipe in sha Allah). ... Alhamdulillah. I'm listening an instrumental version of the Algerian song "Aicha" and enjoyed some green tea. I've upgraded my teas and occasional coffees by making them in a high, thick glass. Instant coffee looks like a latte, instantly, lol :) Tea also tastes more refreshing from a glass. Hmm.  Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh :) how are u doing? Alhamdulillah. I got to visit my friend last weekend, we just both had flu so we didn't really do much else than what we were capable of: drinking tea and coffee and scrolling through Tiktok. But alhamdulillah. It was nice to see her and it was nice to come back home to hubby and turtle too. I'm still a bit feverish but getting better in sha Allah.  ... Fast forward to evening, I made some pancakes with date syrup, yum :) a nice treat. I've been crying all day, not gonna tell the reason, I'm sorry, but just things seem frustrating sometimes. Pancakes were a good medicine for this and a hot shower later, and I will be new again in sha Allah. For some time again.. ... Suttis, the tortoise, was lucky today to receive a package my husband kindly went to pick for him. A sleeping hut! Well, basically he just checked it with a slight interest and layed down elsewhere (on the cold hard floor..) and I did what al...
