New home

 Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah dears :) how are u?

Alhamdulillah, we are now here at the new place. There was a small setback day before the move when the moving helper cancelled, but we managed to get another one. Moving was hectic, but I was mainly in a queue waiting for the keys and then at another place waiting to return the old keys.. Suttis did well but at the end he was very scared and just went and dug himself a safe nest in the dry hay in his vivarium. In the evening he was ready to eat and then check the new home. I think he was excited :) waiting for the outside season, our balcony is safe for him and also there's a small park near our building so we can take him to roam outside there. In sha Allah.

An anxious person needs a steady partner. By steady I mean in all ways lol. We obviously moved in together, but hubby already knows everything here and was showing me around, at the building and at the area too, ma sha Allah. I love him so much, he gives me peace of mind. Our building is a bit to the side from metro station, but still close to everything. There's grocery stores and markets, pharmacy, shopping mall, second hand shop. Then on the other side it's the seaside and nature protection area. 

I went for a small walk, the weather is a bit cold but sunny. Fun fact is that very close to our building there's a route to a squat called Siperia. Or there used to be. I walked the pathway and at one landmark I thought better to keep memories as memories.. I went there a couple times when I was about 14-15 years. It just reminded me about the whole life and situation I was living that time. But I'm not gonna go into it, I just give a big hug to my young self and tell her that everything will be alright, and I mean it. :)

Now I made some mint&liqourice tea and I'm gonna relax a bit. Alhamdulillah for everything. I think this is the nicest apartment I've ever lived in, and with the best company too ❤ A note to myself, things can actually work out.
