Greetings vol. 283

Assalamu aleikum again guys :) how r u?

I wanted to come back again. I need you. I wanna write about everything and embrace all the good people left in this world. My heart cries for all of the war happening. It's not like the situation in Gaza would have gone better. It doesn't mean that Congo or South Sudan are alright. And how the list just goes on.. But of course these past attacks to Iran have been exceptional. Start of a WW3?

Also yes, they are Shia. That doesn't take away their humanity. Internet is a strange place.. and now when I'm on this, happy Pride month too to everyone celebrating. The fact that other people have/need to have their rights doesn't take away of my own. I can share and I hope u can too.

I am making an evening cup of coffee and was thinking what does "spill the coffee" mean instead of tea, well, apparently this. Hold on tightly!

Hehe, well actually I'm not gonna go deeper in this. It all just ends up in my head the same way I always write, la ilaha illallah. Have trust in Allah swt. Sometimes is the only thing we have left to do. Prayer/duaa is the action of it. You can talk to Allah about everything and leave it to him.

To my non-muslim readers, I wanna clarify that that isn't of course end of the story. We can't only pray and then wait for the answers to drop from the sky into our laps and it would be easy as that. Well ok, sometimes that might happen too after a prayer. But, we are encouraged to "tie the camel", as in one very famous Hadith. It means that we have to pray but also put in our own effort. And be also sensible. One can't pray that they could fly and then jump off a cliff. Check the Hadith about the camel, it's a good one :)

I don't know how I got here but yes, I had a nice day, lol. I went to do the halal shop groceries and it was a good trip. I wanted to have an avocado smoothie in that fave coffee shop but they didn't have it there today. So I just bought the foods and came back home, showered and cooked some peanut butter soup with rice.

At the halal shop I managed to answer to an "assalamu aleikum" by "hi", and now I probably can never go there anymore! :( My excuse is even sillier because I was listening to Qur'an in my headphones and got distracted. Like how to.. well, anything is possible I guess.

A little more personal today.. but don't think you know all of me yet! :) There's much more to come in sha Allah. Good to talk to you and next time again,

Aisha
