Heat wave

Alhamdulillah, the heat wave continues, and if I can trust my phone's weather forecast, it will continue still at least a week. I like any weather so it's not a problem, but it is energy consuming.. so time to drink coffee. Yikes, where will the post go now :o

I was so happy today to get some positive feedback about my scarf. Yes, you read right :) A nice lady came to me at the traffic lights and told how my scarf and bag match so beautifully. Ma sha Allah, she was so sweet. Also I met few other nice people today, just small meetings with strangers. Feels nice. :)

The situation in Gaza is horrible as the famine has proceeded. In sha Allah, now some charity organizations have come forward with possible solutions. MATW Project is able to help, also there's fundraisers at Launchgood. Apparently there is some ways and routes which might work. A new freedom Floatilla is on it's way too, ma sha Allah. The most touching charity I've seen these past days is people in the coastal areas putting lentils, rice, baby formula and so on to plastic bottles and let the sea carry it, hopefully reaching Gaza. May Allah reward our efforts and give ease to all Palestinians urgently.

And then to the others news.. wait, there is no more. I haven't done much anything, mostly regular things like grocery shopping, going out with Suttis, cooking, haven't even been working out this week. My friends have their own lives to live and I guess that they know and count on that I'm here for them so maybe they get back later :'). I'm not lonely, I do enjoy this peace and quiet too and hubby is here of course. Alhamdulillah. I have taken my time to dream about autumn days and some new clothes I have bought. 

I was wondering should I write about FW 2025 2026 trends, but it's too hot for that. I've been exploring but it actually looks like style is finally taking over fashion. For example like jewel tones for autumn, like burgundy, navy, emerald green are familiar from earlier fall seasons and are classics. Some things did pop up, like crocodile bags and boots, those too in very classic and timeless designs (and faux! not real :( ). Personal style matters more and fashion isn't fashionable. There's still some trends to choose from and cheer up your wardrobe. I jumped on the satin skirt train, and also bought a shopper bag. But I think that's it for me. I have warm clothes and winter boots, and maybe finally I will start to wear my abayas again, as I've worn pants and tunics all summer.. anyways, maybe I come back to this subject later. Robe coats, textured knitwear.. well, there's something to chat about. We'll see later.
