Relief

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh all :) how are u?

Alhamdulillah. This has been an eventful week, may the events been small but even more meaningful. I'm celebrating this with a bowl of cake (mug cake is nice but I recommend to try a bowl one hehe) and a nice cup of tea, how else. How have you been dears?

I had today a doctor's appointment, and alhamdulillah got some relieving news about issues that were bothering me. I'm healthy, but also I can do better. Now it's the weekend, but when Monday comes, it's all about cutting sugar again and exercising more. I also got a prescription to help me with hormonal issues, in sha Allah that will help me to lose some weight too.

Don't look at my cake now hey :')

I can't go in the other extreme, I'm the type of person who burns out if I take too drastic steps. So little by little. Weekends are ok time to have little treats, otherwise I focus on healthier options like the talbina. Also the beautiful, sunny but crispy weather invites for long walks in the nature, alhamdulillah.

I feel like achieving my dreams is possible now. Allahu alam :)

Other nice things are waiting too. Next week we travel to my mom's, in sha Allah, and stay few days. Also, we have a movie date coming :) I answered to one survey and actually won movie tickets from their draw, I was so surprised. I thought no one ever wins anything from those. Ma sha Allah.

It's kinda funny how everything changes with a glimpse of hope. The sun seems brighter, walk a bit taller, it's easy to smile and ideas start coming. It's probably the istighfar too. I came across this TikTok about the importance of istighfar and how increasing it will increase one's blessings too (istighfar means basically asking for forgiveness from God). It was a good reminder. I feel that closer that I go to Allah swt, the better I feel overall. It creates this shift in things, moving everything on the positive side.

Let's be thankful of our blessings, and make du'aa for everyone who is struggling. I probably won't post so much about politics and so on, because I have taken a step back from reading the news for a while. But of course, we need free Palestine and need to remember also our sisters and brothers across the world. Boycotting is the easiest help, you actually don't have to do anything to do it, and our money matters, sad to say but true. You can vote with your wallet. And of course do any good deeds you have resources for. Eyes on Flotilla. And prayers for us all <3

I have some readers from US, I hope you are managing too. The world is so crazy right now.

And hey dears. This is my 200th post! Alhamdulillah. And my second blog since I started. Who's been here since then? Hehe. It has been up's and down's like in everything I guess. I'm happy to have you here and I hope this blog will bring you joy, thoughts and comfort as peer support.

So, have a nice weekend! Later then,

Aisha
