Princess, turtle and a frog
Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah all :) how's your weekend?
My week went ok. I went to take my medicine Wednesday, and after that I've mainly just been relaxing at home. I have done little things, like gone to the market or out with our ninja turtle. He has been so active now past couple days, just walking non stop for hours, patrolling his territory hehe. He eats well and is doing now much better, alhamdulillah. He was just bored of his healthy outdoors food so he's now back at eating store bought lettuces.. anything he wishes I guess ♥
But yeah so I have just been extra tired, it's a side effect of the medicine, so I haven't been out much. First it was the weather, now this.. well, in sha Allah. I am a homebody but I do want to enjoy this weather too. The heat wave has finally reached Finland and the weather is *chef's kiss*. :)

I'm listening to Bridgerton sound track, eating some raspberry oat yoghurt (gurt) and of course, referring to the past incidents, having some tea instead of some other drink that could jeopardize my writings.. I don't have so much things to say today though. Still from the river to the sea, it looks like I***** is aiming to build a concentration camp. When I think of it I feel hopeless. I don't know how our brothers and sisters there feel. May Allah give victory for all the oppressed and turn the heart of oppressors to Allah.
When one part of our ummah is aching, the whole ummah will feel the pain. Nothing will feel perfectly right until the affairs of everyone have been set right. So in sha Allah, let's keep on doing the things we can to help, and pray for the best outcome.

Back to the vain topics, I've read a bit about hair porosity while I have been looking for how could I take care of my hair the most natural way. I tried the curly girl method but it doesn't do much, and my hair just can't take a lot of products and not even less, but definitely need some though. I learned from Pinterest that my hair porosity is low, which means the products need to be really light. I decided to ditch my hair oils after every wash, and just use a conditioner instead of hair mask, and now my routine is so simple and actually working so much better for my hair. I found a good conditioner, affordable, lightweight, smells great and gives the shine it promises, picture below. But what I really think of now is that do you like to read these kind of beauty, hair and skincare posts? I find them so personal because what works for one doesn't necessarily work for other so I don't know are they really helpful at all..
.. but I want to say that using the vitamin C products have cleared my skin a lot, husband approved, he noticed :D hehe. The redness has calmed down and it seems to help with acne scars too.
I would want to use more natural products though. But this is a compromise, honestly if I'd have the money I would do many things differently. Low budget finds are good enough too.

I don't know have I even seen a grown frog, but we did today with Suttis! It was right there next to us, brown with black markings, quickly jumped to save himself. Funny thing is that I dreamt last night about a frog. It was very small and bright light green color, and I had a big plant, so I lifted it to one of the leaves. Then Suttis came so jealous that he jumped to push the frog away :')
What comes to the princess part, I start to feel like hijab feels good again. ♥ I don't remember right now have I talked much about it, but I have had some issues of wearing hijab. I've been muslim for ten years now, alhamdulillah, and the urge to take it off hasn't ever been so tempting as this spring and summer. But I still just have kept it. And alhamdulillah. I have tried to be patient and now I finally feel good again wearing it. Ma sha Allah. We are princesses and queens, important and precious, to be protected by the Divine. ♥

I think it's time to make some sandwiches and watch tv :) I hope your weekend has been good. Don't forget your sunscreen!
Later then,
Aisha
